The MediMap–Hercules Health integration has been upgraded. The new version automatically links residents and displays live progress notes information directly from MediMap. This eliminates the need for manual syncing or user-driven data entry.
What’s new
- No More Manual Sync:
- Residents are now matched automatically based on NHI, DOB, and Facility Location. You do not need to click anything to sync patient records,
- Live Progress Notes Display:
- Visit the Resident Profile > Progress Notes Tab to see Progress Notes synced from MediMap in real time.
How to view a care plan
- Open the Resident Profile,
- Click on the Progress Notes tab,
- You’ll see a timestamped note: “This progress note is synced from MediMap”,
- If no note is visible and you believe there should be one, contact support
Handover Notes > Logs
- Click on Handover Notes > Logs on the menu to the left-hand side of the screen, here you will see a list of all the progress notes created within the service with the most recent at the top of the list.
- To see only MediMap integration triggered notifications, the User should then look to the right-hand side of the screen at the top of the column. Enter MediMap in the Entry completed by field and the log of progress notes will be reduced to only show those notifications from MediMap.
- Notes will appear in two different forms:
- Administration of PRN Medication,
- Medication changes by the Prescriber.
If the Prescriber makes multiple changes, a notification will appear for each change. The person administering the PRN medication is also displayed about the notation.
The outcome of the PRN should still be noted in MediMap
