- Select the Medi-Map Mobile icon on your mobile device
- Log in by entering your Username and Password. Select your care organisation area
In the top right corner of MM Mobile these four buttons will always be displayed:
- Home. Press this button to return to the main resident list.
- Sync. Press this to sync data with the browser app without logging out and in again. Holding the sync button down for a few seconds will do a full refresh of data in the mobile app.
- Logout
- Online/Offline. Displays if the device is currently connected to the internet.
The Home Page will display the full list of residents.
- To search for residents, you can type their name into the search bar. Residents can also be filtered by area and dose times.
- Tap on a resident’s name to open their administration page or tap on the dose time to open that dose time. The grey icons with a white dash indicate there are no currently prescribed medications to be administered in that time band.
- The ticks and crosses will automatically populate when an administration for a resident has been completed.
Clicking on the resident’s name will display the following:
- The residents name, NHI, photo and their primary prescriber
- Allergies and intolerances are displayed on this page, along with extra information
-Tabs to switch between the types of medications (Regular, PRN or NIMs). Each medication type will also have a blue banner which can be pressed to display administration history from the last 24 hours of that. medication type
For regular medications you can select the dose time band.
The regular packed medications will display grouped together above the package administered line.
To record Regular medication such as sachet/blister as administered:
- Tap on Package Administered bar and all items will then display with a green tick
To record non-packed Regular medication:
- Tap on Yes in the administered box for all non-packed items and a green tick will display.
To record that you have not administered a medication:
- Tap on No in the administered box
- Tap on the appropriate reason.
- To make a note on a regular medication while administering it, long press the medication line and a prompt will appear with a comment box. Select the green administer button when done recording an observation.
When a medication has been changed, a yellow banner will appear next to the resident's photo displaying the time the change was made. A yellow circle also appears next to the relevant round the change was made for.
On the administration page yellow banner will also display next to the changed medication.
- When finished administering all medications, select Finish. This button is located down the bottom of the page and will become greyed out once selected.
To record a PRN medication:
- Tap on the PRN tab to view all PRN medication for the resident
- Tap on PRN medications given in the last 24 hours and view PRN’s given in the last 24 hours
- The last date and time when a PRN were administered will be displayed in the green bar
- Tap Yes in the administered box
- Add a reason for administration and any other necessary information such as if a variable dose was given or how much you gave and tap on Save
Double Sign medication will be highlighted with a red DS label
You will be prompted for a second staff member to enter their username and password for the medication administration. A pin can also be created for double signing instead of using a password.
To create a pin, select 'Set Pin' from the area selection page while logging in.
The pin number needs to be between 5-6 numbers which are not are in sequential order forwards or backwords.
You can order resupplies from the pharmacy for all non-packed and PRN medications:
- Tap on Resupply on the page with the medication that needs to be ordered e.g. PRN or Regular
- Select the item(s)
- Tap the green Resupply button.
