Handover administration to a new shift

1. From the dashboard, click Handover.
   
   

2. Handover shows you a rolling 24-hour summary of all:

   • Medication changes made by prescribers to residents' charts
   • PRN medications administered in previous shifts
   • Changes to resident status such as discharges and new admissions

   For formal medication information and advice, click the black: 

   • TGA square if you’re in Australia,

   • NZF dot if you’re in New Zealand. 

     Click Add for a medication outcome to add a PRN outcome any time during your shift.
     
     
      

3. Enter the PRN outcome and click Save Outcome. 
   
   
    
4. Go back to the dashboard and click Changes [#]. The number shows how many changes there are.
   
   
    
5. You will see all medications and resident status changes for the last 3 days. 
   MediMap also shows these changes in each resident’s chart and administration page.
