- In the dashboard, click Handover.
Handover shows you a rolling 24-hour summary of all:
- Meds changes made by prescribers to residents' charts,
- PRN meds administered in previous shifts,
- Changes to resident status like discharges and new admissions.
For formal meds information and advice, click the black:
- TGA square if you’re in Australia,
NZF dot if you’re in New Zealand.
Click Add for a med to enter a PRN outcome any time during your shift.
- Enter the PRN outcome and click Save Outcome.
In every handover, the manager or team lead should point out which patients received PRNs without a recorded outcome, so the new shift knows who to check on.
- Go back to the dashboard and click Changes [#]. The number shows how many changes there are.
- You see all meds and resident status changes for the last 3 days.
MediMap also shows these changes in each resident’s chart and administration page.
