Pharmacy access will enable the pharmacy to set up unauthorised charts prior to a facility “Going Live”. The charting is visible to prescribers and facility staff but will not be used for administration purposes until all charts are checked and authorised by the prescribers and the facility “Goes Live”.
The Pharmacy only does this once, then it will be the responsibility of the Care Facility and Prescriber to set up any new resident and to maintain existing charts.
- Search for the resident by first name, last name, Medicare, DVA or NHI number
2. If no chart can be found then click on Add Patient
3. Click on the appropriate tab and then click on Add new medication.
4. Search for the medication.
5. Complete the Input New Medication window.

6. The medication will show as a recommendation which can be edited or cancelled until approved by the prescriber.
7. The prescriber can Edit, Confirm or Cancel the recommendation.
