MediMap CSV Data Upload Guide
The below fields of information are required to be complete for a data upload process to work effectively. This guide provides specifications for the data fields in the .csv upload file.
How to Upload
The following steps with screenshots demonstrate how to upload a CSV spreadsheet into a Medi-Map facility/home interface. Please note - Only facility staff with manager level access can complete this task.
Click on Settings > CSV Uploads.
From this tab you can upload data for Staff or Residents. Select the type of upload from the drop-down box.
Click on the green button, “Select files”, which allows you to select the file to upload the data from. Please note if you cannot find the spreadsheet, ensure you have saved it in the format CSV (Comma Delimited) to move on.
Once the file is selected, then click on the “Upload” button. The upload process will check that the file is able to be processed which includes the following checks:
The file is in the correct format (CSV Comma Delimited)
All column headers are exactly correct and match the data summarised in the tables below.
The data in each of the columns is valid.
Any errors discovered will be shown in a pop-up box and the file will not be uploaded into temporary storage. You will need to be resolve any errors before attempting the upload process again to store the file contents in temporary storage. An example of errors is shown below.
A successful upload of the file will be shown as outlined in the following image example -
When the file has been successfully uploaded as per the image above, email the MediMap support team to let them know that the data is ready to be released, please email onboarding@medimap.health with this request. A MediMap team member will release the data from temporary storage in the Medi-Map database into actual usage for the selected facility/home. You will then be advised via email once this has been completed.
Note: It is possible that a manual review of the data uploaded is required, the MediMap staff member will provide any details for you in this regard e.g. a possible duplicate Resident exists, they each have a different unique identifier but have the same First Name, Last Name and DOB.
