Why is the MediMap mobile app not available on the Google Play Store?
The app is temporarily unavailable due to a publishing issue identified during a recent update. We are working with Google to reinstate it and have submitted the required updates.
When will the app be back on the Google Play Store?
The app is currently going through Google’s standard review process. We will confirm once it is reinstated.
How do Android users access the app in the meantime?
MediMap Mobile V5.0 will be available via an APK file from Wednesday 29 April 2026.
Your IT team can install this using your organisation’s standard device management process.
Is it safe to install the APK?
Yes. The APK is provided directly by MediMap and is the official application release.
Will Apple users be affected?
No. The app will be available via the Apple App Store as normal.
Do users need to change how they log in or use the app?
No. There are no changes to login, access, or workflows.
Will data be affected?
No. All data remains secure and accessible as normal.
What happens when the app returns to the Google Play Store?
We will notify you once it is available. At that point, you can return to standard app store updates.
Do we need to do anything now?
- Android: wait for APK and installation instructions
- Apple: update via App Store when available
