- Go to the resident's administration page and click on Regular Medication
- After you have administered the packed medication/s, record it has been done in MediMap:
- Click on the Package line to record all the medications have been administered
- All the lines for the packed medications will turn green
- You can add additional information by clicking on Comment
- Click on each non-packed medication line to record that it has been administered and the line will turn green
- To record non-administered medication, click on Comment for the medication line
- Enter a comment or click on Comment Quick Select to choose an automatic comment. Enter any additional information and then click on Withheld, Refused, or Not Administered based on the reason why you didn’t administer the medication.
- Click on Finish once you have administered/added a comment on why the medication was not administered. A warning will appear alerting you if a medication line has been missed.
- To help you see what you’ve done, the medication line(s) will turn a different colour depending on the reason for administration and/ non-administration:
- Yellow for medications that are refused or withheld
- Blue if you supplied the dose for the resident to administer themselves
- Red for any medications was not administered
- Green if all medication/s were administered
