Click on the Settings icon.
Click on Double Signed Medicines
The double sign function is to record two people were present and checked the medication and dose of that medication. One person to administer and one person to witness. The person checking will need to enter their own username and password into the pop up checked box. Staff cannot proceed with the medication round until this is done.
Syringe Driver – tick if the start of a driver is a double sign in your facility.
Self-Signing - tick to allow for self-signing of medication
Clients Under 18 – tick to enable double signing for all residents under 18 years old for all medications.Classifications - tick which additional controlled drug groups need to be double signed.
Is there a particular route you would like to have double signed? – click the drop-down for routes to choose from, delete any by clicking on the red X.
ATC Codes – select a group of medications from the ATC codes that need to be double signed when administering e.g. insulin. Click on Use this Category to ensure all insulins are double sign medications in your facility.
Specific Medications – click on the box or start typing the name of the medication to be added. It can be displayed as generic or brand or both.
