Pharmacies will pack medications directly from the resident's chart in MediMap.
- Ensure you have the correct resident's medication chart open
Scroll through the chart and match each medication and dose time against the packed medications.
Ensure:
- Medication names match
- Dose times match
- Packed contents align with the resident's chart
- If you match everything correctly, click Pack checked in at the top of the chart.
MediMap records the check in date and time, and your name as having received the correct meds.
- If a pack isn’t correct, go to the Notes tab on the patient’s chart and click Add New Note:
- Select Packing Error, type the details, select to email the note to the pharmacy, and click Post,
- Return the meds pack to the pharmacy.
