Resupply means requesting regular, non-packed or PRN medications (meds) from the pharmacy to restock them at your care organisation.
- Open the resident's chart and click Administration.
- Scroll down the resident's administration page and click the medication tab you need.
- Beside the medication you want to resupply, click Comment and then click Resupply.
- Type your message to the pharmacy and click Resupply.
- Once you receive the stock from the pharmacy, you need to record that you have received it.
Click Resupplies on the dashboard. - Use the resupply tabs to see what’s on order or backorder, been completed, received or noted:
- Search for medication by its name or the resident name, or type an area to show medication ordered for that area only,
- Sort medications by date, medication or resident name.
- To record stock that’s arrived, click Completed by Pharmacy and either:
- Click Received beside a single medication you’ve received
- Select multiple medication check boxes and click Received at the top of the column
- Clear any duplicate requests and action anything you need such as prescriptions requested by the pharmacy.
- To see why stock hasn’t been delivered, click Received or Noted and read any pharmacy notes.
