Discharge a resident or mark as deceased or offsite

1. Click on Search from the Dashboard.
   
   
    
2. Search for the resident by NHI Number, Medicare Number, first name or last name.
   
   
    
3. Click on the More Tab.

4. Click on Discharge, a pop up will display. Click on the one of the three options.
   
   
    

Mark a resident as Deceased

5. Click on Deceased, a pop up will display. Click on the one of the two options. If the resident is marked as deceased, the chart will be made inactive.
   
   
    

Important note:

If you mark a patient as deceased by mistake you will have to contact MediMap Support to reverse this.

Mark a resident as Offsite

6. Click on Temporary Absence. Select the if the resident is on social leave or this is a hospital admission. 

7. The resident will be marked as offsite, to change click on More and then Temporary Absence and mark as Onsite.
