Facilities can access and view residents MyHealthRecord (MHR) from within the medication chart. This is dependent on a few things:
- The resident has opted into MHR,
- The resident has an IHI number on their chart.
- The organisation has a HPIO number (provisioned by Services Australia) and it has been saved in settings in MediMap,
- Staff with manager level access have enabled individual staff members permission to be able to access a residents MHR.
- Staff members requiring MHR access have their professional HPI-I entered into their profiles. This can be done by the staff members themselves or a managerial user.
PRODA SETUP

- Within HPOS, navigate back to My Programs Healthcare Identifiers and My Health Record.
- Choose the My Health Record system - Organisation Registration option.
- In the Manage Authorisation Links section, click Add/Update Links.
- Enter MediMap's CSP number

FACILITY AND STAFF SETUP
Click on the Settings icon
- On the Facility tab, enter your HPIO number.

Click on the Staff tab, click on Edit next to a staff members name, then enter HPI-I number * and tick Permitted to view residents MHR and then click on Save.
The following roles can have view MHR enabled:- Manager,
- Registered nurse,
- Enrolled nurse,
- Agency/bureau,
- Gerontology nurse,
- Specialist,
- Clinical pharmacist,
- Doctor,
- Midwife,

Physiotherapist.
* HPI-I numbers can also be entered by users through their settings tab and selecting Edit Details.

MHR view in a medication chart
A resident who has granted access will display the following on their chart.
Access not allowed as there is missing information OR MHR service is unavailable.
Access allowed with a valid code as provided by the resident OR emergency access.
Access is not allowed and no available MHR.
- Click on the icon for access permitted to be taken to the following screen.
The bell icon indicated that a document has been added with the last 3 months.
- Click on MHR document list to show the medicine summary (MediMap charted medicines are updated to MyHR from here).

Click on Medicines View to show all medicine information, including allergies, shared health summary and discharge summaries (if available).
Click on Medicines Preview to access these records.
- Click on Prescription and Dispense View to show the pharmacy dispense records.
- Click on Pathology View to show all the lab results.
- Click on Change or Gain Access is a resident has provided you with an access code as they have exercised permission-based access only. All access is recorded and saved in the Audit logs.
Note that MHR will also be enabled within the Prescriber interface to assist with the holistic medication approach to improve health outcomes for residents. Prescribers will be able to upload and remove medications to and from MHR.
MHR view only will also be enabled within the Pharmacy interface to assist with the holistic medication approach to improve health outcomes for consumers.
