- Ensure you have the correct resident's medication chart open.
Under the Regular Meds tab click on Add a new regular medication.
- Type in the name of the medication (or part of the name) and click on Search (strength and dose is optional).
- Click on the correct medication. If the item does not appear then click on the Use Text button.
Funded medication will be highlighted in green.
Important Note:
Australia: Items not listed in the AMT can be added via the free text function i.e. oxygen. Items that are added as a free text are not valid for e-scripts and a paper script will be required.
Do not Use Text for S8CD’s, Insulins or warfarin as they will not be recognised and tagged for double signing at the facility.
Complete all the required fields in the Input Medication window.

If the generic medication is already charted in Regular or PRN medications, a warning will appear to let you know that it is already on the resident's chart.
NOTE: To add a PRN medication, follow the same process once you have clicked on PRN Medications in the resident's medication Chart.
To edit a medication, click on Edit in the medication line.
eNRMC enabled sitesThe Edit Regular Medication window will open, make adjustments and click on Save.
