- Go to the client’s chart & Click OST E-Script.
- The charting of the OST medication does not set the eScript dates and period of supply. This is set when you go to OST E-Script.
- Days – will default to 28 days, however this can be manually changed by selecting the drop-down arrow.
- Travel Script – if selected there will be no pharmacy name on the script. The script needs to be printed and sent to an out of area pharmacy.
- From – select the drop-down to adjust the date.
- Generate e-Scripts and Save – click to generate the eScript and a copy will save in the documents tab for this client. The bar code is sent to the supplying pharmacy(s).
Important Note:
If the name of the pharmacy is in orange font, then this pharmacy does not have access to MediMap. The eScript will need to be printed and sent to the pharmacy in another manner.
