- Request the NHI, Medicare or DVA numbers of the residents from the care facility.
- In MediMap search for the resident using the NHI, Medicare or DVA number.
- Enter charted medication details into the pharmacy dispense system.
- The care home will need to advise you of all chart changes until the contract start date.
- Update any chart changes in the pharmacy dispense system between the chart setup and supply contract start date.
- Day of the contract start:
- MediMap will update the care home supplier pharmacy on the agreed date and time (during business hours),
- Check the facility cycle date in your Pharmacy manager settings:
- Run the Resident Not Associated report,
- All residents from the new facility will be listed, select the residents and click on Shift Resident into your Pharmacy, this will then change all the charts to your pharmacy,
- All chart changes and resupplies will now to your pharmacy.
- Run a Historic Chart Changes report for the time from when the charts were entered in the pharmacy dispensing software to today to check if there have been any chart changes.
