E-Scripts will be generated by the prescriber electronically based on their weekly prescription processing cycle. A copy of the script is available in the documents tab on the client’s chart.
You can scan the e-script code, from the original script or from the list in the E-Scripts Code button on the dashboard.
- Click on E-Script Codes from the Dashboard.
Bar codes for any scripts created today will display (change the date range to look backwards). Filter for just OST medications or all general medications.
- Click on Print E-Script to view and print the E-Script.
To indicate to all staff this barcode has been scanned, click on it and the colour will change.
