Can't Search for a Resident by Name

If you cannot search for a resident by first or last name, then you can search using an identifier (NHI, Medicare or DVA number).

1. If a prescribing colleague is able to search for the resident by first or last name, you can add them as a colleague. You can find out more about how to add colleagues at: Settings - Prescriber access.
2. If you are the prescriber for many residents at a facility using MediMap, you can request the facility to add you as an associate prescriber if this is appropriate. They can action this by following the guide at: How to associate a prescriber.

3. If you are the lead prescriber for the resident, you can either review the chart or edit the chart and add yourself as the lead prescriber. Then you will be able to search for the resident by first or last name.

   1. To review the chart, you can click on the green Reviewed button in the top right corner.
      
   2. To edit the chart and add yourself as the lead prescriber, you can click on Edit, then click on the name of the current prescriber:
      
      
      
      Select yourself in the drop-down and then click Save.
